GlassLab Design Session: Marc Thorpe
Designer Marc Thorpe works with Museum glassmakers to explore and prototype his design concepts in a public GlassLab session at the Museum’s Hot Glass Show on the Courtyard Stage. Sessions run continuously from 10am -12 pm, and the public is welcome to drop in for all or part of the session.
GlassLab sessions will take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays, May 29 – August 29, as a complement to the Museum’s summer exhibition, Making Ideas: Experiments in Design at GlassLab.
Using the immediacy of hot glass as a catalyst for innovation through the rapid shaping of forms and exploration of the unique properties of glass, watch as glassmakers and designers make ideas in these collaborative design performances.
Included in Museum admission.
