The image is of a mouth-blown, glass vase engraved with details. The piece is inspired by the idea of tattoos. The vase is covered with a sinuous snake, moths, flowers, stars and a bird on a branch. The tattoo vase is the centerpiece of the Tattoo Collection, executed by Smith and master engraver Max Erlacher; the collection also includes four small cast crystal sculptures. In this image, the flower can be seen on the right side of the vase.
