"Lebeg" (a Hungarian word for "slight movement in the air") consits of several large sculptural pods, each 12 feet long weighing approximately 200 pounds each. They are installed to suspended from the ceiling on a rotating wheel, much like a mobile. Gardner's installation, "Lebeg," was dedicated to the memory of David Gulassa on July 9, 2001 and is located in the Washington State Convention & Trade Center.
