Collection of seven reports pertaining to the history of glass and glassmaking in Portugal.
"1714" has to do with the first attempt to establish a glassworks in Portugal under royal patronage. "Na montra da Bertrand" is about books on glass for sale in a bookshop in Lisbon in 1755. "250 anos" concerns the first royal visit to the Marinha Grande Royal Glassworks. "17 de Outubro de 1786" seems to present additional information discovered concerning the Stephens glassworks. "A indústria vidreira portuguesa: circa 1870" gives a general view of the Portuguese glass industry in 1870. The history of two Portugues glass factories is covered in "Fábrica de vidro na Maceira" and "Fábrica de vidro na Guia-Oeste".
