Informal videotape of the installation of The Corning Museum of Glass special exhibition entitled "The art of glass" at the IBM Gallery in New York City, Dec. 12, 1989-Feb. 3, 1990. Includes the unpacking of the Russian table and its assembly, as well as the assembly of some glass sculpture. Working together are Priscilla Price, Susanne Frantz, Ray Errett, David Whiteouse, Dwight Lanmon, and Joe Maio.

CMGL also has a laser disc labeled "Corning Glass" with a local label of "Masterpieces of glass at IBM, Dec. 1989-Feb. 1990", which may be a video of this exhibition. Laser disc is in AV cataloger's office as of 11/06.
Video is very dark due to poor lighting at time of filming and deterioration of video tape.
Filmed on standard 8mm video cassette, later transferred to VHS, now available on DVD.
