Engraving features title along upper edge. Illustration features eight men engaged in various activities relating to the grinding and polishing of plate glass. Polishing wheel is being used on left.
"Engraved for the Universal Magazine for J. Hinton, at the Kings Arms in St. Pauls Church Yard London. 1748" printed along lower edge. This text has been cut away from c. 3.
