Trade card is hinged on mat along upper edge; dimensions including mat are 28 x 36 cm.
Trade card features company name along top with "Cate & Teasdale, having bought of P. F. Slane his glass works on Bridge St. East Cambridge" below.
"Are prepared to furnish most kinds of flint glass, now in use, at short notice and low prices".
"ca. 1853-1866" penciled in on verso. It is likely, however, that Cate & Teasdale were the first proprietors after P. F. Slane and that they were succeeded by Cate, Teasdale and Dunham in 1849.
