"This catalog must date from 1879-1880, since A.H. Seaburg is listed hereon as "Pres. & Treas." and is listed as such ONLY in the 1879-80 New Bedford Directory", Ken Wilson, April 28, 1993.
"Further research indicates a date for this catalog of 1881 (when the 2nd south furnace was completed, and used for the first time in the fall of that year, and July 1887, when A H. Seabury died. Most probably about 1885", Ken Wilson, Oct. 16, 1995.
