From May 17-June 3, 2008, The Corning Museum of Glass presented its GlassLab program at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. Corning Museum glassmakers worked with designers to explore their concepts in glass. Some of the designers had worked in glass before, but many had not. Designers included Massimo Vignelli, Tobias Wong and Tom Scott, Constantin and Laurene Boym, and Michele Oka Doner. GlassLab was covered by the NY Times on May 28, 2008.
