Having been awarded a commission by the city of Anderson, Indiana, artists Arlon Bayliss and Jason Knapp, designed an outdoor sculpture erected in front of the City Building, in Anderson. These artists co-ordinated the efforts of hundreds of citizens of Madison County Indiana, and together they created "The Crystal Arch". This filming by Arlon Bayliss, briefly illustrates some of the behind the scenes preparation work involved to complete this project, including the construction of the steel frame, the metal brackets, and the creation of the glass crystals. Each crystal commemorates an individual, business, or organization in Anderson, or a significant event in history (such as September 11, 2001). The Crystal Arch includes 360 crystals, is 36 feet long and 15 feet high. There is no narration to this film, only background music. Accompanying this video is a [13] p. photocopy of "The Crystal Arch project, Arlon Bayliss, Jason Knapp".
