This documentary focuses on Michael Herter, master glassmaker at Baccarat, who oversees two major orders: more than ten thousand crystal glasses for the King of Thailand and a large hanging chandelier to be installed in Istanbul, Turkey. This documentary films the crystal glasses being made in the factory through quality control, followed by the making of some of the pieces for the large chandelier. There are also scenes of the crystal chandelier being installed and a few scenes of glassware in this same building which has several large floor chandeliers and a glass staircase banister, presumably made by Baccarat.
