Notes:
Design drawing for vase with stylized floral motif that resembles slim tree trunks near base and extends upward into branches full of large pinwheel-like flowers.
Manikowski was hired by Frederick Carder around 1917 and in the early 1920s was promoted to foreman in the etching rooms. Though Manikowski created many designs himself, especially in the 1920s and early 1930s, he typically acid-etched Carder's designs until Carder's retirement. He continued his employment with Steuben in the Houghton era.
"Dec 31, 30, B.M." penciled in on lower right corner.
