Drawing features detail of band-like design in green, red, and grey. Band is positioned diagonally with vacant shield at upper right. This design is likely associated with BIB 139544. Rough pencil sketch appears in upper left corner.
This design was probably for a commission. It is part of a group of 21 original designs for various commissions.
John Hardman & Co. was established in 1838 as an ecclesastical metal works; stained glass was added to the business six years later.

Puncture hole appears on each upper corner.
