Video documenting the installation of "The feathered hand: installation, drawings, prints" by Alison Derby Hildreth, January 5-April 3, 2011 at the University of New England, Biddeford & Portland, Maine. The work is comprised of an installation and a group of drawings and prints that Alison Hildreth worked on over 2 years. The installation is based on the artists interest in puppets. The puppets are seen hanging through groups of lenses, surrounding vessels of differing sizes. They are not presented as marionettes so much as inanimate objects Hildreth remembers investing much imagination in as a child.
