"The 2010 “Forêt de cristal” collection by Marcel Wanders for Baccarat has inspired the Forêt de cristal exhibition. It is presented at the factory chapel on the theme of woods' animals and plants. The poetic and baroque United Crystal woods collection unveils its universe through this exhibition in an astonishing confrontation of styles and eras from the 1860s until today. Thus, the Wanders Esprit des bois, a family of deer made of steel and crystal are exhibited together with the Georges Chevalier majestic deer head (1952) and the doe and roe deer heads, hunting trophies molded from preserved animals. The Georges Chevalier centerpiece (1927) made in an Art Deco style represents a hunting scene. From the decorative items molded from one piece, the lost wax casting process, the crystal stone wheel engraving and the double color crystal, all the Baccarat expertise contributed to create these woods fauna and flora. The entire exhibition is lighted by a 230 light chandelier"--Baccarat Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.139443689403092.26185.128365620510899
