Freda Diamond was one of the earliest and most influential women to enter the firld of industrial and home furnishings design. From 1942-1979 she was the primary designer for the Libbey Glass Company, helping them pioneer in the production of inexpensive, highly decorative tumblers, stemware and other pieces.
