Narrator, and glass artist, John Burton.
A brief introduction of John Burton and his work is given by Dr. Frank Baxter, Professor Emeritus of English Literature, at the University of Southern California. This is an instructional film on lampworking, narrated by John Burton as he demonstrates some of his techniques and his philosophy. Burton demonstrates the creation of a small bottle, and the making of colored glass, providing a slow and careful demonstration. At the end of the video, he indicates that the second part (another film), will include the making of a Christmas ornament, a goblet, a primitive bead, and a snail. CMGL does not own part 2, nor have we been able to prove that it was produced.
