Drawing is of multi-story living quarters of Gernheim, sometimes called Gernsheim, Glasshouse; building is situated among trees with landscape and benches in foreground. Above drawing, in separately cut mat window, is coat of arms with wings jutting from crest; shield features blue and yellow banner on the diagonal with reddish-orange flower in upper right corner.
The Gernheim Glasshouse was founded in 1812 in Germany.
