This film shows how Pilkington makes and uses glass. The first portion is a brief introduction to the float process, with subsequent annealing and cutting. The rest of the film mentions a variety of types of glass which Pilkington produces: toughened, laminated, tinted/coated, double-glazed for solar heating, insulated, wired (for fire control), patterned and alarmed.
