The second annual GlassFest is a four-day celebration of glass and the fire arts in the Crystal City (Corning, NY).
One of a series of interviews with individuals offering their own personal accounts and relationship with glass.

Interviewed by Gail Bardhan during the second annual GlassFest in Corning, NY, May 26-29, 2011, organized in part by Corning's Gaffer District.
Harry Phillips started his career in glass at Corning Glass Works while still in high school. After leaving high school he went to Steuben where he continued for 46 years, working his way up to becoming a gaffer.
