This video focuses on the establishment of a glass factory in the city of Olovi, in 1891. This factory began manufacturing sheet glass in 1916 with the automated Fourcault process. This method of producing flat glass used a drawing channel and chamber to create a smooth continuous flow of glass. As documented in this video, on December 22, 1999, the Olovi plant stopped producing thin sheet glass.
