One of a series of lectures filmed during the Italian Glass Symposium, in Corning, N.Y., May 30-31, 1997.
In collaboration with Thomas Stearns, Susanne Frantz presents a lecture about this American born glass designer/artist and his association with Venini from 1960-1962. In her slide presentation, Frantz shows several pieces representing Stearns work at that time. At the conclusion of her lecture, Stearns joins Frantz at the lecturn and answers questions regarding his work and his time at Venini.
