Letterhead, presumably for billhead, of James Hartley & Co. in Sunderland, England. Central image features the James Hartley & Co. glassworks. Two first class prize medals are featured on each side of the glassworks image; one of the medals features Victoria and Albert. Letterhead may have been a test print or the remainder of the billhead may have been cut off.
"186" printed on upper right corner, presumably the first three numbers of the year.
"Glass" penciled in on verso.
