Notes:
Titles from title frames.
Glass artists, Federicá Marangoni, Pino Signoretto.
The first film shows a very large piece, 4 meters in size, made of industrial glass in the shape of banded boxes. It is made of Murano colored rods on a mirror base. The central pyramid is solid clear glass, made in Murano, as well as the mirror. The installation will become a fountain-sculpture in Seville in 1992.
This second film documents a large wing-shaped piece (L'Angelo ritrovato) designed by Federicá Marangoni, and executed by Pino Signoretto. Viewer can watch its creation from its original design, to work at the furnace, and the final work in the artist's studio. It is interesting for the size and weight of the piece, since it is blown and shaped. There is no narration, only background music.
This video contains 2 separate titles: "La trappola della memoria" (BIB#94315); and "L'angelo ritrovato" (BIB#62427). These have since been digitized and placed on separate DVDs.
