Jutta-Annette Page, Curator of European Glass, The Corning Museum of Glass ; David Whitehouse, Executive Director, The Corning Museum of Glass.
Filmed in the auditorium at The Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, NY, May 14, 2003.
Jutta-Annette Page lectures on the Principe Andrea Doria, a Façon de Venise engraved work, on long term loan to The Corning Museum of Glass. The second lecture presented by David Whitehouse discusses three Hedwig beakers, one owned by The Corning Museum of Glass, the other two on loan to the museum by a private collector in Germany. One of the loaned beakers is a blank, not cut or carved. His talk also casts doubt on the origin of these beakers.
