This archive includes over 400 folders of original Blaschka drawings of plants and invertebrate animals. There are also dictionaries, travel books, pictorial works and photographs.
The travel books include: Guide to Niagra Falls, Harvard and its surroundings, The New Jamaica, Guide to the Pacific Coast Santa Fé Route; California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas. The pictorial works include: Chicago album, Souvenir of New York, Souvenir album of the Great West, Washington album, Album of San Francisco, Views of Jamaica. There are also pictorial works of Vienna (Austria), Venice (Italy), and Artistic views of the island of Jamaica. There are photographs of Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka as well as other family members, the Blaschka residence, Charles Eliot Ware, George Lincoln Goodale, Francis G. Goodale, Mary Lee Ware, Joseph William Blankinship and the glass flowers. The letters include correspondence with Joseph Blankinship, George Lincoln Goodale, Mary Lee Ware, Charles Eliot Ware, Louis C. Bierweiler, Henry A. Wood Jr., and Walter Deane.
In addition to this, the collection holds invoices and receipts, business cards and notes, articles and clippings, notebooks and sketchbooks.
Leopold Blaschka owned a copy of Darwin's "Origin of Spieces" (not included in this archive).
