Notes: 
Brief letter to [James] Dinsmore regarding glass for the window sashes of his Poplar Forest plantation retreat in Bedford County, Virginia. This octagonal retreat was designed by Jefferson himself as a sanctuary from the popularity of his Monticello home.
"Washington Dec. 29 07" -- written at top of letter.
"A1801" -- penciled in on upper left corner.
Paper is folded and very fragile.
Letter was originally housed in Documents collection, folder 26.1, presidential signatures; rehoused September 2011 due to its fragility.
