All items have letterhead of Clayton Glass Works, Moore Brothers, Clayton, New Jersey. By April, office in Philadelphia is no longer on letterhead. Letters concern orders, ("oriental hair tonic mould from Whitney's"), pricing, production ("it costs us more to make bottles during the hot weather than it doesn during the winter") shipping problems ("we have given our packers a sharp reprimand and orders to watch more carefully"), competitors and waulity problems. Numerous references are made to telegrams; item 14 is one to Moore Bros. from Lanman & Kemp.
