Karen Stavert, lampworker.
Glass bead artist Karen Stavert uses a simple torch head and creates a multitude of different beads from two simple basic shapes. She uses the new Diamond Tech International self-igniting torch head and MAPP gas. The artist works with both glass strips and rods, pulls stringers, uses the mandrel as a punty, and applies dots to a bead. Includes safety tips, and helpful hints.
