Memo instructs Northwood to polish off dirt on pottery copy of Portland Vase, as it came out of the kiln dirty: "can you polish the dirt off the white unpainted parts + make it look really well. Please try a small portion of it first + then let us know whether you think it will be best to proceed with it, or whether it is hopeless + we must then sell it as it is."
