Letter written to Carder congratulating him on his address before the American Ceramic Society. Saunders notes that he worked for L. C. Tiffany & Co. from 1900 to 1918 and that Carder may know his father, Alfred Saunders, who was possibly enrolled at the same school as Carder, Wordsley School of Art, in Staffordshire, England. Saunders continues that his father lived in Stourbridge and was employed at Webb & Sons before coming to the United States.
