The Kempton family owned Southwark Glass Works from 1920-1928, when it was moved to Broxbourne and renamed Nazeing Glass Works.
According to Garry Nash, Reginald Kempton moved to Nelson, New Zealand in the late 1960's and built possibly the first private glass studio in New Zealand.
