David Whitehouse provides a brief introduction to Dwight Lanmon who introduces Frieder Ryser. Ryser presents a reverse painting on glass featuring George Washington to Dwight Lanmon as a gift to The Corning Museum of Glass.
A question and answer session follows.

The first portion of the lecture read by Dwight Lanmon, is a short paper by Frieder Ryser in which he talks about reverse glass paintings and the history of his collection. Mr. Lanmon focuses on several of the 16 different techniques of reverse glass paintings and jewelry. He provides a short history of the genre, from the 3rd c. AD through the 18th century.
