An excellent film about the contributions of the Sumerians and the Arabs to modern civilization. The Sumerians are noted for their settlements, trading and navigation, writing, mathematics, calculation of time and astronomy. When the Arabs came into power in the 7th century A.D., they led a revival in the arts and sciences. A short reference to glass.
