Provides an introduction to glass-making, following all the different stages from heating the raw materials to the blowing and working, and finishing. Of interest: making pots and their installation; tube making (drawing); thermometer tube making; making of tableware (hand blown wine glass), jug, ribbon vase, swan, mold-blown wineglass, grinding and fritting stoppers).

Received at CMGL on a video which also contained "The Art of Stained Glass".
When shown at an exhibition in 1996 at the Manchester City Art Galleries, the video had a commentary, provided by a former Whitefriars workman, Ray Annenberg. This copy does not include the commentary.
