Serengeti offers high end sunglasses that includes photochromic technology that enables quick adjustment of lens to light variations, spectral control technology that gives high-definition contrast and color enhancement, and polarization technology that reduces glare and eliminates ultraviolet rays.
Serengeti Eyewear, Inc. uses photochromic lenses developed in 1963 by Corning Glass Works. Although Corning Glass Works no longer owns the Serengeti line, they continue to manufacture the lenses for Serengeti eyewear.
