After an introduction to cutting in both the early and late parts of the 19th century, Charles Hajdamach provides examples of brilliant cut English pieces, and includes many slides of actual design book patterns. Of special interest is a slide of a glass cannon. He ends his lecture with reproductions made in the 1920s as well as glass cutters at work in the 1930s-1940s.
