Each of the Museum's curators share some ongoing research. Dr. Whitehouse discusses the Corning Ewer and its relationship to other Islamic cut glass and rock crystal. Jane Spillman touches on American glass topics: an 1876 Dorflinger wineglass, a Bakewell mold, and pressed and cut glass pattern similarities. Susanne Frantz's preparation for the Libenský/Brychotva exhibition are highlighted in her coverage of their work from the 1940s-1960s (blown vessels with enamel decoration), work by other Czech artists during those decades, and contemporary Czech painted glass.
