Dr. Whitehouse's lecture focuses on plans for updating the Museum's sculpture gallery as well as renovation of the portion referred to as The Corning Glass Center. Smith-Miller + Hawkinson have been chosen as the architects for these changes. In the plan is a new Innovation Center that will replace the Hall of Science and Industry, and a new theatre will become part of a new Orientation Center. The Rakow Library which has outgrown its quarters will also be moved to a new facility within the complex. Additional changes through the complex are also covered.
