Title from opening frame.
"Glass paintings: Macho's glass painting comes into existence in steps. At first, the artist creates his base (relief) from a smooth surface of glass. A coat of paint follows, and after it has been fired it is followed by the second and third coat, and more if needed. So Macho really fires his colors into glass instead of applying them. And so he creates the painting's luminous magical inside. With our film, we want to take a close look at some of the painter's techniques without having him illustrate them. At the same time it is also a portrait and contemplation. Structure, composition and image-wise it aims to be a documentary. Director, Meir Lubor Dohnal"--Container.
