The church of St. Mary in Fairford, Gloucestershire, England, contains stained glass windows from the end of the Middle Ages, ca.1480. Although there is no mention of it, these windows were most likely designed by the Antwerp painter and engraver, Dirk Vellert. Many of the Old Testament scenes have been obliterated by weathering. As the New Testament windows are shown, the appropriate passages from the Bible are read by Sir John Betjeman. Very good portrayal of the details of the stained glass.
