Watch as Leah Fairbanks demonstrates for her class, Wildflower Glass Gardens, which will focus on creating floral glass beads using precise application of surface embellishment.
Mode of access: internet.
Fairbanks began her glass career in 1982, producing commissioned installations of stained glass, neon, and fusing. In 1992, she changed her focus to flameworked beadmaking and founded her studio, Gardens of Glass. The immediacy of the flameworking process allows her to translate her passion for flora and fauna into delicate glass creations.
