Two page translation of letters written by Emile Gallé (See Bib 149830 for original letters). First letter titled "Reçu les 2 vases 38!". Letter points out that the vases shipped to Gallé were not made to his requested proportions and design; letter also gives instructions for remaking the vases with a thin coat of white opal and thin coat of pink opal. Second letter titled "No. 12, Feuilles nenuphar libellules". This translation covers first portion of original letter regarding water lily leaves and dragonflies, subtitled Decoration A. This letter provides instructions for design and enamel. Some sketching within translation.
