This film reviews the methods used in the restoration of the stained glass windows in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, by Conrad Schmitt Studios. The windows were designed by Carmelite Nuns in France in the 19th century, and made under their supervision. This program documents the removal of the windows, their diassembling, cleaning, re-leading, and repair of faded and broken parts.
