One painted with a pink briar rose and buds (20 x 15 cm.) has the faint initials C.B., bottom center. The other is of assorted flowers (19 x 14 cm.).
Each signed by "W. Beilby" on the reverse in pencil; in double mount.
References: R. J. Charleston "William and Thomas Beilby as Drawing Masters," Glass Circle Journal, 6, p. 24. The signature matches those found on a collection of Beilby drawings in the collection of the Duke of Northumberland at Alnwick Castle.
