"Working with molten glass on this scale-specially designed and created "one-off" pieces-is as dramatic for the spectator as it is for the maker. Teamwork is an essential part of this process. The creation of a "Unika" normally takes about 90 minutes. This film is a condensed expression of the concentration, energy, smoke and fire of the event. The inspiration for the work viewed here comes from the feathers of the Macaw parrots of South America"--Container.
