This collection includes research materials accumulated by William Heacock, and others affiliated with the Glass Press, Inc. The bulk of the collections is comprised of Heacock's subject files, newsletters from glass collectors' clubs (which should perhaps be transferred to the library's regular periodical collection), and a significant number of images of glass, primarily transparencies. The collection also contains a small amount of correspondence files and copies of ads and articles from glass-related journals.
Currently, folder lists are available for Heacock's subject files, correspondence and glass ads, as well as an item-level list for newsletters and periodicals and a preliminary, group-level listing for transparencies.
Print finding aid available in the Juliette K. and Leonard S. Rakow Research Library.
