Master Class Series, Volume 2: Introduction to Venetian Techniques with William Gudenrath

William Gudenrath provides instruction in the basics of Venetian glassblowing and creates his own Venetian-inspired glass pieces on camera.

He takes viewers through the processes he uses to teach students the basics of Venetian glassblowing in his popular course at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass. The video also explores the artist’s passion for glassblowing, teaching, and music.

Resident adviser of The Studio, Gudenrath is a glassblower, scholar, lecturer, and teacher. An authority on historical hot glassworking techniques from ancient Egypt through the Renaissance, he has presented many lectures and demonstrations.
