The Sunburst Vase by Waterford | The Shops at The Corning Museum of Glass

Inspired by the 150th Anniversary of glassmaking coming to The Crystal City, Waterford’s Head of Design, Matt Kehoe, designed the Sunburst Vase. Rich in symbolism, each element of the vase was designed with intention. The exquisite cut sunburst represents the many days of hard work and dedication needed to master the craft of glassmaking. The vase also features four vertical wedge cuts, stretching from bottom to top. These stunning cuts symbolize the progress and innovation that has defined Corning for 150 years.

Featuring 18,000-square-feet of shopping, The Shops at The Corning Museum of Glass is one of the largest Museum stores in the country. Eight individual boutiques offer a wide selection of items from handmade art glass and museum publications to unique jewelry and home decor.
