Getting from the City of Corning bus stop to the Museum
The Corning Museum of Glass is within walking distance of the bus stop, but you can also take the Museum's free shuttle bus from the corner of Pine Street and Market Street to the Museum's front door. The free shuttle runs in a loop about every 15 minutes, and also stops at The Rockwell Museum, and the Museum's free parking lot near I-86, exit 46. *The free shuttle runs from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Memorial Day to Labor Day, and 9:00 am to 5:30 pm during the rest of the year.

There is currently no passenger rail service to Corning, NY.
The Museum entrance is a short walk or free shuttle ride away from the parking lot. Our free, fully-accessible shuttle bus travels directly from the Welcome Center, located in the main parking lot, to the Museum’s front door. The Welcome Center is heated, staffed and equipped with restrooms and maps for your convenience. After your visit, ride the same shuttle to explore the Rockwell Museum and Corning’s Historic Gaffer District, or remain on the bus to return to the Welcome Center and parking lot.
Bus/Motor coach Parking
Buses and motor coaches have their own free parking area, convenient for groups of all sizes. Motor coach drivers will have access to the Driver’s Lounge, located at the Welcome Center. Drivers will have full use of the lounge, which is equipped with a television, business center, and complimentary tea, coffee, and water.
Motor coaches will remain in the drop-off area long enough to unload all passengers. Drivers are to utilize the signs along the curb to guide them. Drivers are to stay on the motor coach in the drop-off area. Prior to unloading, a pick-up time needs to be set between driver and escort, and communicated to the passengers. When all passengers are unloaded, motor coaches must leave to park at the Welcome Center. If outdoor group check-in booth is not open, escorts and their groups should enter the Museum at the courtyard entrance, and proceed through the Shops, up the escalator to the Admissions Lobby.

- Proceed West on Museum Way
- Turn right onto Warren Street (at stop sign)
- Turn right onto Pulteney Street (at stop sign)
- Enter left lane; turn left onto Route 414 (at light)
- Turn left into The Corning Museum of Glass Welcome Center parking lot
- Take immediate right into the designated motor coach parking area
- Back into parking space
Pick-up is located in the same area as drop-off: exact location and daily traffic patterns will be communicated by signs and personnel. Loading must be completed in 10 minutes or less; drivers may not exit the motor coach in the loading area.
